Mary Lou was born on 07/27/1959 in Plainview, Texas to Francisco Vallejo and Mary Vallejo (Perales). She graduated from Caprock High School and attended Amarillo College. She completed her nursing degree and was a compassionate nurse for over 40 years. Mary Lou was a wonderful sister and friend and had a servant’s heart. She did not wait to be asked for help. She anticipated needs and was always ready to provide support. Mary Lou loved people without conditions or expectations.

You will be remembered for you unwavering dedication to God, serving Him with inspiring passion, Despite the enemy's attempt to disrupt your life, God remained you steadfast protector. You will be rewarded in heaven for your selfless outreach to others and your passionate heart. Our memories together will live forever.
Survivors include mother, Mary Vallejo, sisters, Maria Deleon, Teresa Lamborn, Debi Vallejo Meyer, Tina Phillips, Ida Vallejo Bailey, and Kathy Burton, and brothers, Lupe Vallejo, Richard Vallejo, Michael Vallejo, Tony Vallejo, Chris Vallejo, and Joey Vallejo; and multiple nieces and nephews including Hanna Bailey and Zach Bailey.
Mary Lou was preceded in death by her father Francisco Vallejo, brother Johnny Vallejo and brother Frank Vallejo.
Mary Lou's life will be celebrated on Saturday, May 30, 2026, at 11:00 AM, at Angel Funeral Home's Chapel of Angels, 2900 S. Arthur.
