Michael Leroy Craine, 56, went home to be with our Lord on Monday, November 11, 2013.
Memorial services will be at 10:00 a.m., Friday, November 15, at Chapel of Angels, Angel Funeral Home with Carolyn Nuthman, Chaplain of Hospice Care of the Southwest, officiating. Arrangements are by Angel Funeral Home, 2209 S. Arthur.
Michael was born in Clayton, New Mexico. He had the pleasure of traveling from New York to California and everywhere in between. He had an infectious smile and made friends anywhere he went.
He left a legacy for his nieces and nephews: Psalms 118:24 This is the day which the Lord hath made; we will rejoice and be glad in it.
Michael was preceded in death by his father, Salomon T. Craine and his nephew Salomon A. Craine.
Survivors include his mother, Nancy Garcia; five brothers, Richard Craine of Aurora, Colorado, Anthony A. Craine, Randall Craine, Jonathan R. Craine, and Mario A. Marquez; five sisters Anita C. Rodriguez of Albuquerque, New Mexico, Ramona L. Salazar of El Paso, Texas, Lisa P. Martinez, Maria E. Stephens and Frances E. Arzaga; 24 nieces and nephews; 44 great nieces and nephews; and three great-great nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that memorials be made to the Frances Arzaga Special Account, S-10, c/o Amarillo Community Federal Credit Union.
