We gather with heavy hearts to honor and celebrate the remarkable life of our beloved Michael also known as Gualla Banzz. His passing has left a void in our hearts that can never be filled, but as we reflect on his journey, we are filled with gratitude for the profound impact he made in our lives.

Mike was a vibrant soul whose appetite for life was infectious. From the moment he entered a room, he commanded attention with his magnetic presence and boundless energy, much like his father. He had a gift for shifting the energy and filling it with laughter, joy, and fun.

At the age of 11, Mike discovered his passion for rap music, and from that moment on, he poured his heart and soul into honing his craft; immersing himself in the world of hip-hop with a fervor that was truly inspiring. It wasn't uncommon to find him at the studio, dropping new tracks nightly . For Mike, rap wasn't just a hobby – it was a lifeline, a sanctuary where he could channel his thoughts and feelings into something tangible and meaningful. In times of joy, his music reverberated with electrifying energy, lifting the spirits of all who listened. And in moments of sorrow, it offered solace and comfort, a candle in the darkness.

In the face of untimely loss – the passing of his cousin, his father, and less than nine months ago, his beloved baby sister – Michael turned to his music for comfort and healing. Through his lyrics, he found catharsis, transforming pain into poetry and sorrow into song. His music became a testament to his resilience, a reminder that even in the darkest of times, love exists, and extends beyond the pain and heartache of this world.

Mike was not only a talented musician but also a devoted son, brother, nephew, cousin, grandson and friend.  His love for his mother knew no bounds, and he cherished her with all his heart. He cherished his family and friends above all else, standing by their side through every trial and triumph. His love knew no bounds, and his loyalty was unwavering, a testament to the depth of his character

With deep joy and  happiness, we share that Michael was on the brink of embarking on a new chapter in his life – fatherhood. He was deeply in love with his girlfriend, and together, they were ready to begin their own family. The joy and anticipation he felt at the prospect of becoming a father radiated from him, filling those around him with an intense happiness.

As we bid farewell to our dear Mike, let us hold onto the memories we shared, the laughter we enjoyed, and the love we felt in his presence. Though he may be gone from our sight, his spirit will live on in the music he created, in the hearts of those who knew him, and in the precious life he helped bring into this world.

Mike, you were a shining light in our lives, a beacon of hope and inspiration that will never be extinguished. As you journey into the next life, may you find peace and solace in the arms of our Lord. Rest easy, dear nephew, you are home.
