Patsy L. Merimon, 76, passed peacefully on November 9, 2023.

The family will celebrate Patsy's life on Monday, November 13, 2023, at 11 a.m. at The Loft Church, 4400 S. Georgia St. The family will be gathering at the home of Patsy's sister, Shirley. Devoted mother to Kryss and Kyndra, cherished grandmother to Dillon, Kerston, and Kylar, and her great grands, Ember, Wyatt, and Andon.

Born in Matador and raised in Amarillo, she graduated as a fighting Don at Palo Duro High School.  Patsy was the life of the party!  She found joy in her work in the apartment leasing industry along with her love of the local hockey team when they lived at the apartments.  She cherished family gatherings and her time at church. A steadfast Christian, she held a deep love for Jesus. Patsy, known for her spirited personality, enjoyed bowling, dancing the jitterbug, and creating memories with her five sisters.  She found comfort in the companionship of her schnauzer dogs, who added immeasurable joy to her life.

Preceded in death by her father Earl, mother Helen, and grandmother Molly, Patsy leaves behind a legacy of love and warmth. She is survived by her daughters Kryss and Kyndra and husband, Darren, grandchildren Dillon, Kerston and husband, Morgan, and Kylar, her grands, as well as her sisters Shirley and husband, Wayne; Elsie, Sandra, Beverly and husband, Garry; and Fran and husband, Danny. Patsy is also remembered by other loving family members, including numerous nieces and nephews. May her vibrant spirit and enduring love be a source of comfort to all who knew her.
