Peggy Joyce Meredith

Peggy Joyce Meredith, 81, of Amarillo passed away March 21, 2021.

Viewing will be from 10:00 a.m.-8:00 p.m., Monday, March 29, 2021 at Angel Funeral Home. Funeral service will be at 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, March 30, 2021 at the funeral home. Interment will follow in Llano Cemetery. Arrangements are by Angel Funeral Home.

Peggy was born September 6, 1939 in Wellington, TX to Charlie James and Jessie Mae Somerville. She married Johnny Dale Meredith on August 5, 1957. Peggy was a homemaker and faithful wife for 63 years.

She is survived by her husband, Johnny Dale; sisters, Anita Sheffield and Wanda Cummings; brothers, James, Charles, Eddy and Teddy Somerville; and numerous nieces and nephews.
