Ralph Erhard Treiber

Ralph Erhard Treiber, age 76, passed away on March 19, 2026, in Amarillo, Texas.

The family invites you to Ralph’s celebration of life on May 16, 2026 at 2:00 pm at the Waring Hall, 11 Waring Rd, in Waring, Texas.

Ralph was born in Fredericksburg, Texas on February 2, 1950, to Erhard and Eleanor Treiber. Ralph was a Comfort High School graduate where he went on to serve in the United States Coast Guard and was a Vietnam veteran. He spent most of his life in Waring, Texas where he raised his three children and volunteered for the Waring Fire Department and the Kendall County EMS. Ralph spent many years in construction and was a talented craftsman. His favorite pastimes included fishing, hunting, traveling, and playing poker with his friends.

Ralph, also known as Poppy, was preceded in death by his wife, Brenda Bauchman Treiber, and his parents, Erhard and Eleanor Kirchhoff Treiber. Ralph is survived by his children, Tony, Tracy and Elizabeth along with his granddaughters, Kaylin Hernandez, Tatum Cooper and Kathryn Wright and his great grandson, Sage Cuellar.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to be sent to the Waring Volunteer Fire Department.
