Robert Macias, 86, of Amarillo, died on September 5, 2016 in Amarillo.
Funeral Services will be at 2:00 PM Wednesday, September 7, 2016 at the Seventh Day Adventist Church, 405 S. Western, Amarillo, TX 79106 with Pastor Bobby Harris officiating. Burial will be in Memory Gardens Cemetery. Arrangements by Angel Funeral Home, 2209 S. Arthur, Amarillo, TX 79103.
Robert was born on January 22, 1930 in Aguascalientes, Mexico to Luis and Francisca Macias. He married Janie Alonzo on May 14, 1976 in San Antonio. He loved traveling and watching his children play sports. Robert was involved in Bible Studies, Revelation seminars and always wanting to meet people. He was always serving God through ministry and going about the work of saving souls, even in his last days with us. He will be remembered as a loving husband, father and grandfather.
Robert is preceded in death by his parents; two daughters, Dolores Macias and Debra Delgado; and two granddaughters, Anastacia Duran and Marisol Diaz.
He is survived by his wife, Janie Macias; two daughters, Janie Diaz, Veronica Williams and husband Shaun; eleven sons, Manuel Macias Marquez and wife Evagloria Macias, Luis E. Macias, Antonio Macias Marquez and wife Maria Luisa Rodriguez, Raul Macias Marquez and wife Josefina Perez, Juan Macias and Angelica Fernandez, Heriberto Macias, Fernando Macias and wife Hilda Macias, Arturo Macias, Alejandro Macias and wife Rosy Macias, Raul Roy Soto and wife Tomasita Soto, and Paul Anthony Soto and wife Josie Soto; 47 grandchildren, Adreyan Tu, Jaclyn Tu, Chase Williams, Yesenia Diaz, Briana Diaz, Lissandra Diaz, Luis Manuel, Jorge Roberto, Carlos Eduardo Macias, Israel Antonio Macias Rodriguez, Sandra Macias Rodriguez, Daniel Antonio Macias Rodriguez, Ricardo Macias Rodriguez, Raul Macias Perez, Giovanna Macias Perez, Jorge Dionisio Macias Perez, Carolina Macias, Norma Macias, Veronica Bridgitte, Luis E.
