Roger “Roy” Estrada, Jr., 66 of Amarillo passed away September 30, 2013.
Funeral Services will be at 10:00 AM, Friday, October 4, at Angel Funeral Home, Chapel of Angels, with Pastor Jerry Davey officiating. Arrangements are by Angel Funeral Home, 2209 S. Arthur.
Roy was born in San Benito, Texas on April 17, 1947 to Roger and Maria Estrada. He worked as a concrete finisher for many years. Roy enjoyed being with his family and was a fun person to be around.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a son, Jerry Estrada.
Roy is survived by his wife Candelaria; two daughters Debra Lombrana and husband Raul of Amarillo, and Sandra Guerrero and husband LeRoy of Arizona; one son, Roy M. Estrada and wife Sylvia of Amarillo; four sisters, Mauricia Kile of Oklahoma, Rosa Trevino and husband Juan of Lubbock, Maria Rosales and Lucy Rosales of Casa Grande, Arizona; four brothers, Jesse, Jaime, Joe, and Juan Rosales all of Casa Grande, Arizona; 14 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00p.m., Thursday, October 3, at the funeral home.
