Rosemarie Hollis

Rosemarie Hollis, 71, of Amarillo passed on May 10, 2025 at Northwest Texas Hospital after a valiant battle with multiple health issues. She fought so bravely until her body had enough and she slipped away peacefully.

The family will celebrate Rosemarie's life on Saturday, June 7, 2025 at 2:00 pm in the Angel Funeral Home's Chapel of Angels, 2209 S. Arthur, with Reverend Chris Condit of Hillside Christian North Campus presiding. 

Rosemarie was born in Ocean Side, California on April 27, 1954 to Angelo Sagnimeni and Lilla E. Archbold. She graduated from Caprock High School in Amarillo Texas. Rose worked in the hospitality sector her whole life. She was retired when she passed, but continued to provide support and love to her neighbors. She loved to decorate her home, thrift store shopping, cooking for others and spoiling her cat.

She married Larry Hollis and together they raised an adopted son Nicholas Hollis.

She is preceded in death by her sons, Nicholas Hollis and J Scott Chapman and his wife Valerie Chapman, and her husband, Larry Hollis. Those left to cherish her memories are a sister, Janice Albracht her husband Timothy Albracht of Amarillo, Texas, brothers, Johnny Sagnimeni of Odessa, Texas, and grandson, Riley Chapman of the Houston area, many nieces and nephews that loved her very much; as well as a huge group of friends and her beloved cat Pumpkin.
