Sally Ann Habib

November 10, 1950 — February 13, 2026

Amarillo

Sally Habib, 75, passed on to her heavenly home on February 13th, 2026.

A memorial service to celebrate her life will be held on Tuesday, February 17th, 2pm at Trinity Fellowship Willow Creek, with Pastor Tyler Leavitt officiating.

Sally was born in Ventura, California on November 10th, 1950, to her parents, Joe and Georgia Foster. Born and raised, Sally was a true Cali girl and was a lover of the beach. A self proclaimed hippy, Sally was a lover and collector of antiques and turquoise jewelry. She raised two boys while in California, later traveling to Amarillo, Texas to be closer to her family.

Sally worked as a dental assistant, most of her career at the Amarillo VA Hospital, serving our nation’s veterans. Faith was very important to her and she became a member of San Jacinto Baptist church. There, she met her late husband, Edwin Habib. They had one daughter together, and later welcomed her three stepchildren into their home, bringing them to big, beautiful, blended family of eight.

Sally enjoyed long drives, sometimes just down her local Route 66, or longer ones to the beach or mountains. Vacations were mandatory every year; she loved to see and experience everything around her. In her retirement, she enjoyed spending time with her soulmate, Edwin, and her many grandchildren. Their favorite pastime would be sitting in the bistro, sharing a hot cup of coffee together. They also loved to garden together. The two were inseparable, so much so that they passed on the same date, two years apart.

Sally will be forever remembered for her generosity and kind heart. A devoted mother and wife, Sally loved her family more than anything.

Sally was preceded in death by her husband, father, mother, and brother. Those left to cherish her memory are her sons: KJ Gonzales, Cody Gonzales, who has one son and a great grandson; Her daughter, Marissa Habib and her four children; and her three stepchildren, Ananda Habib; Sahaja Hernandez, husband, and two children; Zahhara Habib and her three children. She was blessed with 10 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Sally also leaves behind many friends and family that loved and cherished her.
