Saw Shwe Win

Saw Kabaw Htoo, also known as Saw Win, was born on May 6, 1964, in Insein Township, Myanmar, and passed away on May 2, 2026, at the age of 62.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, May 7, 2026, from 4 pm to 6 pm, at Angel Funeral Home, 2209 S. Arthur. Viewing hours will be held on Friday, May 8, 2026, from 9:30 am to 1:30 pm at Angel Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held on Friday, May 8, 2026, at 2 pm in the funeral home's Chapel of Angels. Burial will follow at Llano Cemetery.

He began his career in Myanmar as a dedicated music teacher at Casio Music School, where he shared his passion for piano with many students. He also devoted his time to teaching violin and piano to children at church and through freelance lessons. His love for music and teaching made him well known as a gifted and respected piano teacher.

In 2000, he worked as a ship's cook before later moving to the United States, where he built a new life in Amarillo. Despite living far from his loved ones, he remained a devoted son, husband, and father, always fulfilling his responsibilities with care and commitment.

He was a kind, generous, and faithful man who served the Lord wholeheartedly. He was known for his willingness to help others, often giving even when he had little. Every Christmas, he made it a tradition to give gifts to elderly people, spreading joy and compassion to those around him.

He was deeply loved by everyone who knew him for his gentle spirit, understanding nature, and unwavering support for his family.

He is survived by his beloved wife, Naw Virginia, his son, Saw Terence Htoo; his daughter, Naw Patricia Htoo; his older brother, Saw Charll; his second brother, Jhara Davld Po; and their families.

His goodness, love, and legacy will always be remembered by all whose lives he touched.
