Stella "Oleta" (Hall) Boroughs

Stella “Oleta” Boroughs, 77, of Amarillo, passed peacefully in her home on February 7, 2024.

Visitation will be held at Christian Heritage Church, 900 S. Nelson, on Friday, February 16, 2024, from 9am to 12:45pm. Funeral Services will start at 1pm with Pastor Craig Lawlis presiding. Burial will be private.

Oleta was born September 15, 1946 in Amarillo to George W. and Mary I. (Morris) Hall. She came from a large family, having 16 additional siblings. She was a Home Health Care Provider for many years before retiring. Oleta and James were faithfully devoted to each other and were dedicated members of Christian Heritage Church for many years.

Oleta was loved by many and had the biggest heart anyone has ever had.

Oleta is preceded in death by her father and mother, George and Mary Hall, and son James Milton Boroughs Jr.

Those left to cherish her memory are her husband, James Boroughs Sr, Son Lyndon Barry Boroughs and wife Paula; Daughter, Lisa Tuckek, and husband Travis; Grandsons Christopher James Boroughs and wife Jenna, Tanner Boroughs and his wife Katie, Skyler Granthan and wife Kimberly, granddaughter Shalla Grantham and fiancé Edward Robles, grandson Tymon Tucek; honorary grandson Dyllan Waker and wife Amber and their children Jayden and Anikin Walker, as well as great-grandchildren AbbieGail, Gracelynn, and Libbie Shea; and honorary great granddaughter Tatum Koontz. She also leaves behind her Sister Mary Lou Charles of Amarillo, and brothers Jimmy Hall of Amarillo, and Woody Hall of Oklahoma.
