Thomas D. Short, 74, of Amarillo died October 8, 2012.
Memorial Service will be held at 10:00 AM, Thursday, October 11, 2012 at Angel Funeral Home Chapel of the Angels with Sherman Eastland, Chaplain officiating. Arrangements are by Angel Funeral Home, 2209 South Arthur.
Mr. Short was born April 11, 1938 in Clarendon, Tx. He was a man who enjoyed simple things in life. Tomas proudly served his country in the United States Air Force. Thomas was a carpenter who enjoyed working with wood. His favorite thing to do was sit on the porch in the sun listening to music with his dog, Mindy. He and his brothers just recently were able to attend the Honor Flight to Washington, D.C.
Survivors include his children, Tom Short and wife Christy, Brian Short and wife Diahanna, Donna Laurence and husband Frank, and Missy Short Raulston. Four Brothers, Cecil Short and wife Laree, James Short and wife Earlann, Johnny Short, and Wendell Short and wife Bobbie and numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.
