Virginia “Jean” Preciado Chavez, 75, of Amarillo, died Tuesday, August 15, 2017.
Memorial Service will be 1:00 PM Friday, August 18, 2017 at St. Matthews United Methodist Church, 1631 S Roberts with Rev. Emanuel Burgos as officiant. Arrangements are by Angel Funeral Home, 2209 S. Arthur, Amarillo, Tx.
Virginia was born February 1, 1942 in Amarillo to Jesus and Socorro Preciado. She was a loving mother and grandmother and was known and loved by the whole barrio.
She was preceded in death by parents; one sister; one brother; and two grandchildren.
She is survived by her daughters, Biyanka Padilla, Charlina Padilla, Janie Luera, Denise Padilla and Mercy Chavez; three sons, John Chavez Jr., Joe Chavez and Gilbert Chavez; four sisters, Pauline, Margie, Linda and Christina; her loving partner, Alfredo Penalber; thirty two grandchildren; and forty-seven great –grandchildren.
