Wesley Paul Delz LUBBOCK-Wesley Paul Delz, 62, of Lubbock passed from this life on Jan. 15, 2016.
He was born to Cecil and Wanda Delz on July 2, 1953, in Maracopa County, Ariz. He graduated from San Angelo Central High School in 1971. Married Elizabeth Brooks May 18, 1974. They had two daughters, Lauren and Chelsea. Wes continued his education earning a BS degree in Biology Education from Angelo State 1991 and a Master's in Education Leadership from Texas Tech University in 2005. He was employed for the last ten years by Plainview ISD and previously for Lubbock, Abilene and Merkel school districts.
He was preceded in death by both parents and survived by both daughters; two grandsons; one sister, Cathy Boucher of Lubbock; and a brother, Mark Delz of Round Rock; several nieces and nephews and countless friends.
Memorial services will be Jan. 30, 2016, at 2 p.m. in Plainview at Happy Union Baptist Church, 219 E. Givens.
