Bettie Ann Geter

Bettie Ann Geter, 72, of Carthage,TX passed away on September 24, 2020 at 3:15 p.m., at Georgia Manor Nursing Home in Amarillo, TX.

She was born October 20, 1947 in Carthage, TX to the late Sie and Jetter Geter whom proceeded her in death also proceeding her in death was her sister, Margaret Sutton; and lifelong      soulmate, Richard "chic" Jones.

Surviving is their son, Jason Jones; two grandchildren, Jailina Jones and Sabrina Ruiz; one brother, Sie Geter, Jr.; and a host of nieces and nephews.

Bettie was a long term resident of Pope Quarters outside of Carthage where she lived during her childhood. Bettie was a lifelong homemaker since a young age. She loved to clean and  enjoyed making people be laugh. Bettie was also a member of the First Assembly of God and Christ Church in Carthage, TX.

She will definitely be missed and we will forever cherish her in our memories
