Eulogio "Shorty" Garcia, Sr.

Eulogio “Shorty” Garcia, Sr., 72, of Amarillo died October 5, 2020.

Shorty was born March 11, 1948 in Maxwell, Texas. He married Maria E. Diaz in Amarillo on May 12, 1996. Shorty and Maria moved to Quanah on September 1, 1996 and worked as a tire man. In 1998, he started his own business and got his truck. The name of the business was Shorty Tire Service and on the road service 24 hours and 7 days a week. In January 2009, he had to stop working due to failing health and faugt hard until the very end.

He is preceded in death by his parents; 1 brother; and 5 sisters.

Shorty is survived by his wife, Maria (Mary); 1 sister, Paulina of Muscatine, Iowa; 2 sons; 4 daughters; Eulogio Garcia and spouse, Dolores Flores and spouse, Tommy Garcia, Florinda Garcia, Connie Delgado and spouse, Michelle Rodrigues and spouse; step-children, Cindy Bustos and spouse and Michael Diaz and spouse; 23 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; 7 step grandchildren; 9 step great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
