Gary Michael Milligan

Mike Milligan was born in 1949 on February 27th in Dumas, Tx. Mike served his country in the United States Army from 1965 through 1971. During his service Mike received the Purple Heart award and the bronze star due to his valor, courage, and sacrifice for his country and fellow man. Mike then retired after working for the United States postal service. His passions included golf, horseshoes, Las Vegas, and the Texas Longhorns. Mike will be remembered for his love for his family and his animals. He was a great man who loved his family and served his country like a hero. He will be sorely missed.

Mike is preceded in death by his wife Marsha Milligan; father, Oliver Milligan; mother, Frances McCaghren; daughter, Christi Morton; and aunt, Ollie Faye Milligan.

Mike is survived by his daughter Diana Vanese Pierson and her husband Jarred Pierson; his brother Doug Milligan and his wife Sheila Milligan; his sister, Vicki Dewett and her husband Joe Dewett; and his grandchildren, Michael and Lacey Pierson.
